Frederick Heitjan, MD is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and Penn State College of Medicine. After graduation from West Point he served on active duty for six years as a Communications Officer with one combat deployment to Afghanistan. He left the service in 2018 to pursue a career in medicine, which led him to the Medical College of Wisconsin for an Internal Medicine Preliminary year and ongoing training at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation hospital for his PM&R residency. He willl be applying to Pediatric PM&R fellowships in the summer of 2025, with interest in neuro rehab, functional disease, and transitions in pediatric care.
