4th year medical student
Wake Forest School of Medicine of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center
My name is Blake Jones, MS, and I’m a fourth-year medical student at Wake Forest University School of Medicine applying to Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation this residency cycle. I grew up in the small town of Buies Creek, North Carolina, and I studied Health and Exercise Science at Wake Forest. In graduate school, I studied biomechanics, where I focused on movement analysis and osteoarthritis. More recently, I’ve been involved in the Wake Forest biomechanics pitching lab, studying UCL ruptures and pitching mechanics. I am also interested in medical education and have been involved in anatomy peer teaching, education research, and acting as an M1 course student facilitator. My clinical interests include musculoskeletal medicine, injury rehabilitation, and optimizing quality of life.
