Annie Tuman, MD

Resident
Emory University School of Medicine PM&R Program

Annie Tuman is a PGY-3 Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation resident at Emory University (Atlanta, GA). She received her MD at Medical College of Wisconsin (Milwaukee, WI). Her career interests include brain injury medicine, holistic and integrative medicine, and medical humanism. These interests have been supported by her book chapter on reducing geriatric polypharmacy in the rehabilitation setting via interdisciplinary and multimodal strategies, her prior NIH-funded research exploring multi-specialty support for caregivers of older adults, and her educational initiative to improve palliative care clinical skills and referral habits for multi-specialty residents and medical students.
