Casey Pierce, MD

Resident Physician
University of Alabama Medical Center PM&R Program

Casey Pierce, MD, is a PGY-2 resident physician in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has interests in diagnostic ultrasound, basic spinal procedures, and inpatient rehabilitation. Dr. Pierce holds multiple leadership roles within the department, including serving on the Transfer Committee and Journal Club Committee, as well as at the institutional level as a member of the UAB Residency Well-Being Work Group. He is dedicated to advancing resident education, promoting institutional wellness, and mentoring medical students through the Heersink School of Medicine. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, playing pickleball or basketball, and hiking with his wife and standard poodles.
