Nafis Eghrari is a fourth-year medical student at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Nafis was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, and completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences at Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University, with minors in Health Innovation and Spanish. Nafis has held several leadership positions, including serving as co-founder of the school’s PM&R Student Interest Group and a research subcommittee member of the AAP Medical Student Council. He also volunteers biweekly at InMotion, where he assists coaches with exercise classes for patients with Parkinson’s Disease. Nafis’s research interests include interventional spine procedures, pain medicine, and stroke. Outside of medicine, Nafis enjoys traveling, weightlifting, basketball, and playing the piano.
