PhD Student, Research Assistant
School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences, University of Texas at Dallas, Richardson, USA
With a background in medicine as a Medical Doctor and a passion for brain recovery, I am currently pursuing a PhD in neuroscience at the University of Texas at Dallas. My research focuses on neurorehabilitation, particularly using Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) to enhance recovery after neurological injuries such as stroke, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury. I have contributed to several clinical research projects, including NIH-funded studies, exploring the effects of VNS paired with rehabilitation. My goal is to develop effective, accessible therapies that harness neuroplasticity to improve function and quality of life for people with neurological disorders.
