Alexandra Falkenberg is a fourth-year medical student at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine pursuing a career in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She graduated from the University of Michigan School of Kinesiology in 2021 and received the National Undergraduate Scholar Award from the American Kinesiology Association for distinguished academics, leadership, and service. Her research has focused on motor skills, physical activity, and health disparities in children with developmental disabilities, and she is passionate about using this work to promote equity in care. Alexandra also brings her love of sports into her community through volunteering with Montefiore Adaptive Sports and Achilles International, supporting athletes of all abilities. Outside of medicine, she can often be found hiking a new trail or running with friends.
