Miriam Borvick, BA is a third-year medical student at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her career aspiration is to specialize in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine, with a focus on supporting children and families through complex medical journeys. She is especially interested in approaches that prioritize family-centered care, informed in part by her experiences as a mother of two.
Her scholarly activities include projects in medical education and extensive public health efforts in community health education. She has presented her work at national and international conferences, emphasizing culturally sensitive communication and patient-centered care.
Miriam currently serves as the AAPM&R Medical Student Ambassador for her medical school for 2025–2026. She is excited to present at her first AAPM&R Annual Assembly and to learn from colleagues dedicated to advancing rehabilitation care.
