Somtochi Edeh, Fourth-Year Medical Student, Howard University College of Medicine, is passionate about advancing rehabilitation medicine and health equity. In medical school, she has explored a range of PM&R topics through research, including functional outcomes in Guillain-Barré Syndrome and rehabilitation outcomes research, shaping her passion for evidence-based approaches to improving patient function and quality of life. She is committed to mentorship and creating pathways for future physicians, particularly students from underrepresented backgrounds who may not have early exposure to PM&R.
