Madeline Beaulieu, is a fourth-year medical student at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine with a strong interest in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). With a background in collegiate athletics and a passion for integrative, patient-centered care, she is committed to helping individuals regain function and improve quality of life through evidence-based rehabilitation and hands-on medicine.
She has presented multiple research posters at national and specialty conferences, including a case study on Autonomic Dysfunction in chronic spinal cord injury at the Association of Osteopathic Colleges of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AOCPMR) Mid-Year Conference and a clinical review on trigeminal neuralgia and botulinum toxin therapy at the Association of Military Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (AMOPS) Conference.
Madeline currently serves on the Student Advisory Board for the Expert Education (ExEd) Institute and as Vice President of Communication for Medicine in Motion (MiM), where she helps advance student education and mentorship in rehabilitative care. Her background as a Division I collegiate soccer athlete has fueled her passion for optimization of recovery and improved performance and function. She is especially drawn to the team-based, goal-oriented nature of PM&R and is eager to contribute to the field as a future physiatrist.
