Jacob Pfaffinger is a fourth-year osteopathic medical student at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is pursuing a career in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with interests in non-surgical and regenerative approaches to musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions, as well as electrodiagnostic medicine. During his undergraduate and early medical school years, he studied the microbiome and its role in host homeostasis, with a particular focus on neurodegenerative diseases. Originally from Fort Collins, Colorado, Jacob also has a background in collegiate basketball, which gave him the opportunity to travel and compete at multiple schools across the country.
