Hye-Jin Yun Clark, MD is a PM&R chief resident physician at Stanford University. She completed her medical degree at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, where she served as Class President and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude in Neuroscience & Behavior from Barnard College of Columbia University. She has a passion for medical broadcasting journalism and global health, having worked with the Chief Medical Correspondent of the CBS Evening News and UNICEF USA prior to medical school. She is deeply committed to innovative, interdisciplinary approaches to interventional pain management and performing arts medicine. Dr. Clark currently serves on the AAPM&R PHiT Council Board as a Residency Program Liaison, where she has helped initiate and organize the first inaugural virtual PM&R Chief Residents Meeting and supports national efforts to strengthen trainee engagement and leadership development in physiatry. She will be pursuing an interventional pain fellowship at UCLA Geffen School of Medicine, where she is honored to be part of the first PM&R resident cohort in the program’s history.
