University of Miami/Jackson Health System PM&R Program

Diana Molinares Mejia, MD is an Associate Professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She serves as Program Director of the PM&R Residency Program and Director of Cancer Rehabilitation Medicine at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, where she also leads the Cancer Rehabilitation Fellowship. Dr. Molinares specializes in the rehabilitation of individuals with cancer, with a focus on prehabilitation, survivorship, lymphedema, and the integration of rehabilitation principles into oncology and palliative care. Nationally, she is Vice-Chair of the Cancer Rehabilitation Consortium of the American Academy of PM&R, helping shape research, education, and clinical practice in this growing field.
