Medical Student
Howard University College of Medicine
Jeffrey Palmer II is a fourth-year medical student at Howard University College of Medicine. He is passionate about sports medicine, regenerative medicine, electrodiagnostic medicine, musculoskeletal disorders, and community rehabilitation. As a former athlete, Jeff brings a unique perspective to the intersection of performance, recovery, and long-term wellness, fueling his commitment to helping patients return to their highest level of function.
Throughout medical school, Jeff has pursued robust clinical and scholarly experiences to prepare for a career as a sports medicine physiatrist. Beyond research, Jeff is deeply committed to mentorship, outreach, and advancing exposure to Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) for future trainees. He has organized and participated in initiatives that connect students to rehabilitation and adaptive sports opportunities. These experiences have allowed him to combine his love for movement with service, fostering early exposure to rehabilitation medicine while supporting athletes with disabilities.
Jeff has also had the privilege of participating in clinical experiences at the highest levels of sports, including the NFL Physicians Society Pipeline Program with the Washington Commanders during training camp. These experiences have further solidified his aspiration to integrate sports medicine, community wellness, and cutting-edge rehabilitation into his future practice.
He hopes to one day open a comprehensive multi-sports and rehabilitation complex that combines elite-level care, research, and inclusive wellness initiatives.
