Albert Einstein Healthcare Network/MossRehab PM&R Program

Dr. Tony Besong is a PGY-3 PM&R resident at Jefferson Moss-Magee Rehabilitation Hospital. While serving in the US Navy as a combat medic, he developed a deep passion for neurorehabilitation particularly in the application of novel technologies to improve functional outcomes in patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain, spasticity and spinal cord injury. His case study focuses on the importance of multidisciplinary treatment approach in maximizing independence, cognitive and motoric functions for a patient with Wernicke's encephalopathy.
