My name is Katie Cole and I am a fourth-year medical student at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. I am from Toledo, Ohio and went to the University of Notre Dame for undergrad. My interest in PM&R grew from my background as a collegiate athlete, where I experiencing injuries myself and watching teammates work through rehabilitation introduced me to the power of physical medicine. I appreciate the interdisciplinary approach, working with therapists, social workers, and families to make meaningful plans tailored to each patient’s goals.
