Medical Student
University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine
Hello! I’m a fourth-year osteopathic medical student (OMS-IV) at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine, applying to PM&R residency this year. My interest in physiatry comes from seeing how rehabilitation blends hands-on care, problem-solving, and long-term patient relationships.
Before medical school, I worked as a molecular technologist, a pediatric medical assistant, and a rock climbing instructor. I’ve also volunteered to help run the free osteopathic manipulative medicine clinic at my school. My clinical interests include neurologic rehab, musculoskeletal medicine, and so much more!
Outside of medicine, I enjoy hiking trails, playing with my German Shepherd, strength training, the San Antonio Zoo, and testing out new recipes in the kitchen. I’m looking forward to meeting colleagues at AAPM&R 2025 and connecting over shared ideas, research, and the future of physiatry.
