Chris McLeod, MPH, is a fourth-year medical student at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He holds a Master of Public Health with a focus in health promotion and program planning from UTHealth and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from The University of Texas at Austin. Chris currently serves as President of the PM&R Student Interest Group at UTSW and is the Education Series Coordinator for the UTSW Adaptive Sports Coalition. His academic and research interests include adaptive sports, quality improvement, injury prevention, and community health. He is currently applying to PM&R residency programs, with plans to pursue a career as a community-based physiatrist integrating public health principles into rehabilitation care.
