Rhoda Hijazi is a fourth-year medical student at Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Currently Vice President of the AOCPMR Student Council, she also serves on the AAP Diversity and Inclusion Subcommittee and contributes to the media team for Representation in Rehab and the ASIA Americas Committee. Her interests include neurorehabilitation, adaptive sports, medical education, equity, and advocacy. Passionate about mentorship, she has published her work, shared it at national meetings, and contributed in outreach programs that connect high school and undergraduate students with to rehabilitation medicine and interdisciplinary care. Outside of academics, she enjoys playing soccer and spending time with her dog, Chanel, and she is excited to apply to PM&R residency in the 2026 Match.
