Pawan Pathamagamage, BS, current second-year medical student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. I am a first-generation immigrant from Sri Lanka who moved to the United States at the age of seven. Growing up in a family of physicians, I developed a strong interest in pursuing a career in medicine from an early age. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles.
