Mount Sinai Hospital PM&R Residency Program
Dr. Abby Ventura MD, MBA is a second-year resident in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC. She is a Los Angeles, California native and began her professional career by graduating with honors as a student athlete at Palisades Charter High School. She went on to complete a degree in Human Biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz where she also ran cross country, graduated with both University Honors and Honors in the Major, and obtained a Phi Beta Kappa distinction. She went on to work in an emergency department for a year and subsequently completed a research year in autism research at UCLA. She moved to North Carolina to continue to pursue her educational goals and simultaneously completed a medical degree (MD) and business degree (MBA) at the Wake Forest School of Medicine and University of North Carolina, Wilmington respectively. During her time in North Carolina, she also continued to pursue her passion for running and ran her first two half marathons. She is now a PM&R resident in NYC at the Mount Sinai Hospital.
