Luigi P. Gonzales, MD is a first-year PM&R resident at The University of Washington. He graduated as Magna Cum Laude and a Discovery Scholar from the University of Southern California with a major in Human Biology - Applied Physiology Track and a minor in Occupational Sciences. For medical school, Luigi attended the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. Research has been an integral part of Luigi's training resulting in awards such as the Alpha Omega Alpha Carolyn L Kuckein Student Research Fellowship Award and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine Medical Student Research Award. Outside of medicine, Luigi loves to be active and play various sports including basketball, volleyball, golf, and pickleball. Luigi is also a photographer and videographer with multiple works under his portfolio.
