Karen Lou Luna, MD is a PGY-3 Resident Physician at Eastern Virginia Medical School, Old Dominion University. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Our Lady of Fatima College of Medicine in the Philippines and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Universidad de Sta. Isabel. Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Luna worked for several years as a physical therapist, providing rehabilitation care to diverse patient populations. This experience shaped her strong foundation in patient-centered care and deep compassion for individuals with disabilities. She remains dedicated to advancing rehabilitation medicine, with a solution-oriented approach that prioritizes functional recovery and quality of life.
