Medical Student
SUNY Downstate College of Medicine

Kyle Smith is a fourth-year medical student at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, New York, pursuing residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His academic interests include neurorehabilitation and musculoskeletal medicine, with a focus on functional recovery and community reintegration.

During medical school, he has been involved in research, community service, and student leadership, including work in a student-run free clinic and mentorship initiatives. He is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based rehabilitation care and looks forward to contributing to the PM&R community through clinical practice, research, and education.
