Aya D. Abu-Zama, Other

OMS-II
Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine

Aya Abu-Zama (B.S.) is a second-year medical student at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a research assistant in the Detroit Medical Center Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. She has a passion for community outreach, health equity, and lifelong learning as a leader of street medicine through Detroit Street Care, and as the Vice President of her campus chapter of the Student National Medical Association. Outside of medicine, she enjoys learning arabic, baking cultural desserts, and running on as many trails as she can.
