University of Illinois College of Medicine At Chicago

Karen Mao, BSc is a third-year medical student at the University of Illinois College of Medicine (UICOM). She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto and worked as a research assistant for two years in Boston before pursuing medicine in Chicago. She is passionate about neurorehabilitation and evidence-informed chronic pain medicine, dedicated to restoring functional outcomes and improving patients’ quality of life.
