Orsula Staka, MBA is a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Department of Neurosurgery at Tulane University School of Medicine and a Business Analyst with the Fascia Institute and Treatment Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business, with concentrations in Strategic Management & Innovation and Business Analytics, and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of San Francisco, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Her professional experience spans clinical research, business operations, and data analytics. She currently leads site coordination for FDA-approved and investigator-led clinical trials, including studies on musculoskeletal disorders, hypermobility syndromes, and methylation support. Orsula has co-authored multiple poster presentations for national and international conferences, with work focusing on ultrasound-guided interventions and post-viral joint hypermobility disorders.
A former NCAA Division I volleyball and beach volleyball athlete—serving as team captain at both Tulane and USF—Orsula brings a strong background in leadership, time management, and team development. Beyond her professional and athletic achievements, Orsula is deeply committed to community service, having volunteered in psychiatric care settings, youth centers, domestic violence support programs, and elder emotional support hotlines. Combining her background in psychology, business strategy, and medical research, Orsula is passionate about advancing evidence-based interventions, improving patient outcomes, and bridging the gap between clinical practice and innovation.
