Bilaal Hassan, MD

Resident
Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth's PM&R Residency Program

Bilaal Hassan is currently a second-year PM&R resident at Texas Rehabilitation Hospital Fort Worth. He completed his undergradute education at UT Dallas, where he graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Neuroscience in 2020. He went to medical school at UT Southwestern and graduated in 2024. Within physiatry, he has broad interests including pain medicine, brain injury medicine, EMG & spasticity, and in the intersection of technology and medicine. He is currently an AAPMR PHIT Ambassador for his residency program and host of the AAP Physiatry Tech Podcast as a member of the AAP RFC Technology subcommittee. In his free time, he enjoys all things Dallas sports, reading science fiction novels, and doing amateur astronomy.
