Alejandra Cardenas-Rojas, MD, is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician Resident at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She completed her medical degree with honors in Peru, postgraduate training in Clinical Research and Biostatistics and postdoctoral research in Neuromodulation at Spaulding Hospital Neuromodulation Center. Her research focuses on precision neurorehabilitation, noninvasive brain stimulation, and biomarker discovery in chronic pain and stroke recovery. A first-generation physician-scientist, she is committed to advancing equitable access to clinical research and care for underrepresented populations.
