Jacob Sellon, MD

Co-Chair, Sports Medicine Division
Mayo Clinic Rochester

Dr. Sellon is the Co-Chair of the Sports Medicine Division and directs the Sports Ultrasound, Sports Regenerative Medicine, and Exertional Leg Pain practices at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is board certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine and holds the RMSK Ultrasound Certification from the APCA. Dr. Sellon serves as the Head Team Physician for Rochester Community and Technical College and was the Medical Director for the annual Med City Marathon for 10 years. He was the Program Director for the Mayo Clinic Rochester PM&R Sports Medicine Fellowship for 10 years and has been training fellows and residents in Sports/MSK ultrasound for 13 years. Dr. Sellon’s research focuses on MSK ultrasound diagnostics and procedures, and he is a regular invited speaker on ultrasound topics at national conferences.
