Christopher J. Mallard, MD

Assistant Professor of Anesthesia
University of Kentucky College of Medicine

My name is Chris Mallard, MD and I am an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and the Program Director of the Pain Medicine Fellowship at the University of Kentucky. I am board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology with a subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine.

My research interests are focused on advancing pain management techniques and education, particularly in advanced procedures such as neuromodulation, and sacroiliac joint treatment. My clinical focus is on treating complex chronic pain conditions, and I’m passionate about improving patient outcomes through innovative therapies.

In addition to my clinical work, I am actively involved in teaching and mentoring fellows, residents and medical student, developing educational programs, and contributing to the advancement of pain medicine.
