Nethra Ankam, MD (she/her/hers)

Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine
Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University

Dr. Ankam is a Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. She is the director of undergraduate medical education for her department. Her interests include disability education for healthcare professionals. She is also co-faculty lead of the Jefferson Health Mentors Program, a required interprofessional program that pairs teams of interprofessional students with a person in the community with a chronic condition and/or disability, and involves 700-800 students per year.
