Ivani Proano, DO

Resident Physician
Rutgers New Jersey Medical School PM&R Program

Ivani Proaño, DO, is a third-year resident in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation/Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She is deeply interested in brain injury rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, neuromuscular medicine, and health equity. Dr. Proaño is passionate about delivering inclusive, identity-centered care and expanding access to rehabilitation services for Spanish-speaking and historically underserved communities. She has contributed to resident wellness, medical education, and cultural competency initiatives at her institution and beyond.
