Rajani Sebastian, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her research focuses on developing innovative and effective treatments for speech and language deficits in individuals with conditions such as post-stroke aphasia and primary progressive aphasia. She uses a combination of multimodality neuroimaging techniques, non-invasive brain stimulation, and behavioral assessments to investigate how language recovers after brain injury. Dr. Sebastian’s work aims to advance evidence-based therapies and improve functional communication outcomes for individuals with neurogenic communication disorders.
