Dr. Alicia Hegie, Psy.D., ABPP, is a rehabilitation neuropsychologist working at Providence St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Medical Center in Spokane, Washington, where she also serves as the chair of the Ethics Committee and Program Lead for the Brain Injury Program. Alicia completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Denver, with an emphasis on assessment and behaviorism. Alicia completed her internship at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland AFB. Alicia then served as an Active Duty Air Force Officer (most recently at the rank of Major) at Nellis Air Force base, where she served as the Director of Psychological Health and Officer-in-Charge of one of the largest mental health clinics in the United States Air Force. She was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for her service. After separating from the military, Alicia completed a fellowship in Neuropsychology at the Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center in Vallejo California. She has worked at St. Luke’s as a rehabilitation neuropsychologist for 8 years. Alicia completed Board Certification in Rehabilitation Psychology in 2019. She has served on the Academy of Rehabilitation Psychology since 2021, where she was elected to be the first female president of the board of directors and is currently serving as treasurer.
