My name is Mr. Christian Nelms, and I am a fourth year medical student at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. I am a 2018 graduate of the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) and received a BS in Applied Mathematics. I am currently applying for residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), and my interests within the field include spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, sports medicine, and disability advocacy.
