Sara Raiser, MD, FAAPMR, CAQSM is a sports medicine physiatrist at the University of Virginia Runner’s Clinic. She is Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Associate Program Director for the PM&R residency program, and Team Physician for James Madison University. She is currently Chair of the AAPM&R Running Medicine Member Community and sits on the Digital Learning Committee. She if Founder of the Running Medicine National Grand Rounds series. She completed Primary Care Sports Fellowship at Stanford University. Her clinical and academic interests include running medicine, kinetic chain analysis, overuse injuries, the female athlete, and medical education.
