Ellen Casey, MD (she/her/hers)

Hospital for Special Surgery

Dr. Ellen Casey is an Attending Physiatrist in the Department of Physiatry and the Women's Sports Medicine Center at the Hospital for Special Surgery. She is also a Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Casey is actively involved in sports medicine research. She is interested in the underpinnings of sex and gender disparity in musculoskeletal injury, including the role of sex hormones in knee injuries (particularly anterior cruciate ligament tears).
