Eve Klein, MA CCC-SLP ATP, CLVT started her VA career in at VA Palo Alto Healthcare System 2000 as a speech-language pathologist, focusing on treatment of disorders related to TBI, stroke, head and neck cancer and neuromuscular disease, with extensive clinical experience in a variety of rehabilitation settings. She became a part of the Palo Alto Assistive Technology Center in 2010, specializing in augmentative and alternative communication and electronic cognitive devices. In 2017, she joined the VA Palo Alto Western Blind Rehabilitation Center (WBRC) and has been in the role of Service Chief since February 2020.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis, and a Masters degree from Northwestern University. She is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) through the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA), certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) through the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA), and a Certified Low Vision Therapist (CLVT) through the Academy of Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP).
