Ely G. Cuberos Paredes, MS (she/her/hers)

Medical Student
Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine

Ely G. Cuberos Paredes is a fourth-year medical student at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine in New Mexico. Born in Venezuela and raised in Queens, New York, Ely is applying to PM&R residency with a passion for advancing rehabilitation care and representation in medicine. Ely’s clinical interests include spinal cord injury, cancer rehabilitation, and adaptive sports. As Vice-Chair of the PM&R Medical Spanish Network, Ely develops programming to teach PM&R terminology in Spanish and promote cultural humility. As PM&R Specialty Chair for the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA), Ely creates mentorship pipelines, organizes workshops, and leads outreach initiatives to expand exposure to PM&R among underrepresented students.
