Medical Student
University of the incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine

My name is Aaron Bernal, and I am currently an OMS-IV medical student at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2019, where I studied Kinesiology with a focus on Basic Exercise Physiology. I am passionate about all things in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), with specialized interests in Cancer Rehabilitation, Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine, and Sports Medicine. I am dedicated to continuing research in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and look forward to the opportunity to teach future physiatrists one day.

When I'm not immersed in medicine, I love spending my time snowboarding in the winter, making a classic American breakfast for those I care about, and attending or tuning in to any sporting events I can find.
