Akhil Aerra, Student

Fourth Year Medical Student
CCOM

Akhil Aerra is a fourth-year medical student at Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, IL. He has an interest in Physiatry, with a current focus on inpatient care, and he is keen on exploring the various subspecialties as he finalizes his career path. Akhil is an active member of the Race Medicine and Rehab In Review Leadership teams within the Chicago PM&R Fellowship group and previously served on the AOCPMR Research Committee. He is passionate about interdisciplinary care, and deeply committed to mentorship as well as an interest in medical education.
