Mahi is a third year medical student at the GW School of Medicine interested in physiatry, pediatrics, and lifestyle medicine.
She serves as a Medical Student Ambassador with the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and as President of the inaugural board of the National Culinary Medicine Interest Group Committee. Mahi's current research investigates therapy utilization and impact on education for children with neurological and musculoskeletal disorders; injury and injury prevention in visually impaired atheletes; community-based culinary medicine interventions for cardiovascular disease; and mental health interventions in patients with chronic pain. Mahi's past lab research investigated the single-cell mechanisms underlying breast cancer metastasis.
Mahi holds a bachelors degree in Neuroscience (B.S.) from George Washington University with a minor in Computer Science.
