Ian Ackers DO, PhD PGY5 Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Fellow, Gillette Children's Specialty Hospital, University of Minnesota Department of PM&R. Clinical interests in tone management, cerebral palsy, global rehabilitation. I am particularly focused on outcomes of advanced spasticity management strategies. Currently, at Gillette Children’s, I am engaged in a project that seeks to define the core outcomes identified by clinicians, patients, and lived experience partners for children and young adults with cerebral palsy who undergo SDR. This project is emphasizes incorporating perspectives from patients, parents/caregivers, clinicians, and scientists. Establishing these core outcomes will strengthen the quality and comparability of SDR research and clinical care, while also ensuring that outcomes most meaningful to children and families are prioritized.
