Katherine J. Kim is a PGY1 in the Internal Medicine (Preliminary) Residency Program at Adventist Health White Memorial in downtown LA. She graduated from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine in 2025 and will continue her training at Stanford University as a resident in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) beginning in 2026. Katherine earned her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biology with a concentration in Statistics from Columbia University. Before medical school, she worked as a clinical research coordinator at the Neurological Institute of New York, where she studied cellular processes underlying seizures through analysis of microelectrode and clinical EEG recordings. She is particularly interested in pediatric rehabilitation, with a goal of improving quality of life for children with physical disabilities. In her free time, Katherine enjoys reading, journaling, exploring libraries, volunteering at local sporting events, and practicing pilates and yoga.
