Jacob K. Goforth, MD

Resident Physician
University of Virginia Medical Center PM&R Program

Jacob Goforth, MD is a resident physician within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia. He completed an undergraduate degree in civil engineering at Clemson University prior to obtaining his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society and a recipient of the UVA PM&R Excellence in Patient-Centered Care Award. Jacob is passionate about medical education and helping others maximize their functionality and quality of life post-injury through the field of physiatry. Outside of work, he enjoys being a girl dad, spending quality time with family and friends, exploring outdoor activities in the Charlottesville area and cheering on the Hoos and Tigers.
