Katrina Coogan is a medical scribe with ScribeAmerica, working with a physiatrist at Mass General Brigham Sports Medicine at Boston Landing. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Science from Georgetown University. Her clinical and academic interests center on sports medicine, rehabilitation, and health equity. In addition to her clinical work, she is a professional runner for Team New Balance Boston, specializing in the 5,000m and 10,000m, and a U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier in both events. Drawing on her experiences as a professional athlete, she is interested in research that contributes to better care for runners and other athletes. She also serves as the Associate Director of Research for VOICEINSPORT Foundation.
