Sean Sellwood, MD is a PGY-4 resident physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Corewll Health Hospital in Taylor, Michigan. Born and raised in South Africa, he moved to the United States at age 15 and went on to play Division I football at the University of Utah, later signing with the Atlanta Falcons. Following his athletic career, Dr. Sellwood earned his medical degree through St. George's University School of Medicine, training across three countries and working with diverse patient populations. His clinical interests include pain medicine, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and patient-centered functional recovery. He plans to pursue a pain medicine fellowship upon graduation in 2026.
