Seth Spicer, OMS4, MS, ATC, CSCS, Futures Forward Research Institute.
Seth Spicer is currently a fourth year medical student at Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine applying to match into Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His experiences include being a certified athletic trainer, certified strength and conditioning coach, track and field coach, co-founder of Connected Community Health Support, 3x-All American decathlete, and former adjunct lecturer of exercise physiology. After his masters in exercise science and time as an extern at an olympic training facility, he expanded his career interest in sports performance optimization to include athletic injury prevention and treatment. Seth is an experienced practitioner, a well reviewed lecturer, and is obsessive when it comes to the neuromuscular system. His research includes leading multiple original clinical research projects, dozens of systematic reviews with meta analysis, and various other works that together have won awards at 17 local or national conferences. In addition, he is the president of Futures Forward Research Institute which provides mentorship to hundreds of medical students to make performing high quality research more accessible. Outside of academia, he power lifts, competes in and coaches track, loves to read nonfiction, is mediocre at singing and playing guitar, and spends time with the love of his life.
