Edgar Cedeno is a fourth-year medical student at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and a Rice University graduate in kinesiology. A first-generation college student and fluent Spanish speaker, he is dedicated to expanding access to rehabilitative care for underserved communities. He is pursuing a career in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, with clinical and research interests in spinal cord injury and interventional spine. Edgar conducts ongoing research at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Spine Health as well as pediatric orthopedic studies at University Hospitals. He also serves in leadership roles with the National Latino Medical Student Association’s PM&R Specialty Section and the CWRU School of Medicine Admissions Committee.
